It's curious that this part of the Marais district, a block from the Pompidou Center, is not brimming with great addresses for the cocktail connoisseur. Even more reason to take the weight off on the ottomans of this small street-level bar, or downstairs in the cozy cellar, for an after-shopping pick-me-up. The classics are in safe hands here, and the various branches of the Old Fashioned family are well represented. The PCW cocktail is called Only Live Twice, a rum and orange blossom combo on an exotic mission with a nod and a wink to James Bond. Resistance is the future!
