Surrounded by wood from floor to ceiling, the sense of being in an animal's lair is inescapable. A beaver's lodge, to be precise, for Castor is the French for beaver. At the Castor Club, the eager beavers behind the bar prove to be as talented at assembling drinks as their namesakes in the animal kingdom are at building dens. They're also excellent company and happy to share secrets of their trade. It would be a shame not to make the most of their hospitality.
